Just finished the Noah Veil vs Mustafa Ali edit. There are so many levels to this photo.

Retinal is the underdog that, by every reasonable metric, should have died as a company years ago. But we kept it going anyway, against the odds, because we believed in what we were building.

On July 25, 2026, we facilitated greatness. A main event pro wrestling match between Noah Veil, a Black trans athlete, and Mustafa Ali, a devout Muslim American of Pakistani and Indian descent.

A diverse, sold out crowd of Birmingham, Alabama, a city stereotypically associated with homophobia and racism, stood on its feet and cheered without a shred of hate or fear in their hearts.

A handful of people believed in Retinal. We built this company from nothing into something special that could stage a iconic moment like that, in a place like that.
